Robert Ace does, except for his shows also a lecture about pickpockets.
He also writes a blogg informing the public about thieves and scammers. Currently only available in Swedish but an english version will be a thing in the future.
Robert Ace has spent several years studying pickpockets.
Above being one of a handful of magicians in the world that uses pickpocketing as entertainment, he has also studied the real thieves in the streets.
He has taught himself to find and stalk pickpockets in the streets. Spent countless hours studying surveillance videos and even stolen a watch from an actual pickpocket and as a result gotten lessons directly from a pickpocket gang in Barcelona
Now Robert has taken all this experience and concentrate it into a lecture.
The lecture is aimed towards Police, security guards and other security personal.
Also including large stores, malls and airports. Places that often have a problem with pickpockets.
In the lecture Robert will talk about:
- Pickpockets techniques, how they steal and the psychology that makes it work.
- Pickpockets tools.
- The set-up of a pickpocket team (a whiz mob)
- How to spot a pickpocket in a crowd. Using body language and behavior.
- Common places for pickpockets to strike.
- How to avoid to be a victim.
- And more!
Robert’s lecture about pickpockets techniques, body language and behavior gives concrete advice for how to spot pickpockets and also how to avoid to be chosen as a victim.
It’s also entertaining, as Robert demonstrates how it works in practice, playing the role of a thief there on stage.
”For SSF it’s good to through our counseling be able to pass this knowledge on. Pickpocketing is a crime that has gone up with 60% in Stockholm during the last 3 years according to the police”
-Annika Brändströ, Vice director at SSF (Swedish theft prevention)
During the lecture Robert will show clips from security cameras to illustrate his points. And he will also take people up on stage to demonstrate live how pickpockets operate.
Entertaining and educational!
